I teach ongoing international folk dances on Monday nights in Petaluma The classes include dances from Serbia, Turkey, Rumania, Armenia, Bulgaria, Greece, and Israel. All share a basic movement vocabulary, yet each country's dances have their own special flavor and style. I also teach 6-week sessions of Israeli dancing at the Osher JCC in San Rafael. Beginners and newcomers are always welcome; no partner is necessary.
